Semester 1 · one six-to-eight-week inquiry
Wait for the school's live unit order. Forces in motion is the cleanest published connection; Hong Kong and the world may support an economics or civic question. Do not duplicate the same school unit at home, and let Jeremy's question come first.

Use observations, experiments, interviews, or trustworthy sources—not a worksheet-only unit.
Artifact
Build a model, explanation, guide, or testable prototype.

Make one real decision or take one small action because of the inquiry.

Use a Guided Discovery concept, observation, or skill only when it complements the live school order. A major school project always takes priority.
Independent capstone
Keep the home question, milestones, evidence, and audience clearly independent. Shrink or pause it during heavy school weeks; missed work never becomes backlog.
